The
following series of tasks follows an eight-week schedule.
Each week carries twelve tasks of writing designed four
for each of the primary (A), middle (B) and secondary/senior
secondary (C) sections. All tasks are either controlled
or guided writing activities. The guidelines are provided
in the Index. It tells you the title, the format, the
kind of writing, its style, specific structure item(s),
type of support in the activity and optional use of
teaching aids, if any. The teacher can make the task
easy or more challenging. The conduct of the tasks should
involve a lot of interaction through other skills among
the learners. They may form pairs/teams for certain
stages of the tasks. They may take help from teachers
and parents. Learning happens as long as there is action
and interaction in the classroom.
