PROFILE
Paveen Mittal teaches Biology at Holy Angels’
School, Sahibabad, in Uttar Pradesh.
Mr Mittal completed his schooling from Kendriya
Vidyalaya, Ghaziabad in 1992. He did his BSc
in 1995 from MMH College, Meerut and MSc (Zoology)
in 1997 also from the same college. He did
his BEd from the Institute of Management Education,
Sahibabad.
Mr Mittal began his teaching career in 1998
from Hi-Q International Academy, Dehradun
where he taught Physics, Chemistry and Biology
to junior and later, to senior students. He
joined Holy Angels’ School, Sahibabad,
in 2002, left it in 2006 to offer coaching
to students taking competitive exams only
to rejoin the school again in August 2007
where he has been teaching ever since.
Apart from academics, Mittal is known for
his organisational skills in school. He organises
various extracurricular activities for the
students, develops lesson plans and teaching
aids, and maintains classroom and student
records. He was given a certificate of appreciation
for his role as school coordinator in the
7th National Science Olympiad in 2005.
Popular with his students, Mr Mittal combines
learning with fun. He believes in fostering
self-worth among each of his students by recognising
their individual worth and focusing on them.
He says that quality education can be built
through maximum use of technology available
and by “motivating a learning environment
that captures the imagination.”
A keen sports enthusiast, Mr Mittal loves
to play football, volleyball and cricket in
his spare time.
