Miss P.A. Lakshmi did her graduation and postgraduation in English from M.V.M. College, Dindigul. She has also completed her Bachelor of Education from Gandhigram University and her Master of Education from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai.

Miss P.A. Lakshmi has been a teacher in Om Shanthi Hr. Sec. School (CBSE) for two years. She is currently teaching in Akshaya Vidyalaya School. Inspite of being a recent entrant to the teaching fraternity, Miss Lakshmi has been effective in imparting the skill of using the English language. Her approach is unique and her techniques are innovative. To supplement the textbook material Miss Lakshmi uses audiovisual aids. She also involves her students in group discussions and activities such as dramatization, role play, quizzes, dumb charades, etc. She uses supplementary resource material in class, especially for grammar practice.
